Our Mentors are from Major banks, big four accounting/consulting firms, Asset management firms, and corporations, covering Risk Management, Asset Management, Corporate Banking, Capital Market, Commercial/Retail Banking, Strategy/Consulting, and Accounting etc.
–About CDS Class–
Career Development Series (CDS), an ultimate course of NHC, has helped hundreds of new graduates land their first job and experienced candidates found their dream jobs. The 2017 Q1&Q2 CDS class has concluded with a great success. Candidates have built strong networking skills, acquired professional advice, enforced their resumes and interview skills during our classes. –CDS Results–
NHC CDS program provided professional career training to 47 participants first half this year and to date about 50% of participants received offers from reputable financial institutions. They are now working in firms such as RBC, BMO, TD, CIBC, Scotia, HSBC, PWC, States Farm in areas covering portfolio valuation, transaction advisory, business analysis, and rotational programs.

The New Horizon Career Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting young professionals’ career development in the financial industry founded in Toronto; it is also a tight-knit community that provides superior mentorship for students and young professionals to help them develop their careers. We empower all stakeholders (students, facilitators/volunteers, and advisors) to gain crucial knowledge and build key skills so they can find success in their careers and enjoy their NHC experience.
Throughout the first half of 2017, NHC has hosted numerous training programs, speaker series, and networking events, such as Retail class, Risk salon, AML class, and Treasury Salon. We received high praise from our members and friends, and many graduates from our training program have landed their job jobs after attending our events.
