Big Data, Machine Learning, and AI in Portfolio Management

NHC invites you to join us at University of Toronto St George campus on November 8th for a panel discussion on Big Data, Machine Learning and AI in Portfolio Management. Two data scientists are going to explain how to use big data and machine learning to help portfolio managers make prompt and alpha making decisions. The panel discussion will be followed by a networking session.

 – Panelist –

Jamie graduated from Ivey Business School with Honours Specialization in Financial Modelling in 2015. In the last four years, Jamie has become an experienced data scientist, with a track record of creating analytical models in the health care and financial sectors. Currently Jamie works at Bristol Gate Capital Partners as a Data Scientist, where he uses machine learning to develop investment strategies.

Kaile graduated from University of Waterloo in 2012. Since then Kaile has worked in RBC in various areas such as Capital Market and Risk Management. Currently Kaile leads an analytics engineering team in RBC Global Asset Management, helping portfolio managers with key word filtering and indicator forecast via big data and machine learning.
