I am writing to thank you for your support on the NHC AML 101 Program. I was very happy and appreciative to learn that I was offered a position of Analyst in AML consulting at a Fortune 500 company under your career club’s support.
I am an Accounting graduate with no experience in my field. I planed to pursue a career in the investment banking upon graduating from my master degree. However, after graduation, Canadian experience is an obstacle on my way to secure an employment. I attended the NHC CDS program and successful graduated and secured an entry level job at one of the big 5 bank. Then, with my progression within the bank in 3 years, I became a Branch Manager at Green Bank Investment Services Inc. This year, once again, AML Master Speaker Peter Su’s amazing AML 101 program significantly enhanced my academic understanding of the regulatory compliance and I am able to break in the anti-money laundry and anti- financial Crime industry. Without the support from NHC, I won’t be able to achieve all of these. Thanks to you, I am one step closer to my career goal.
By awarding me the industry knowledge and strategic employment searching skills, your organization have lightened my industry knowledge burden which allows me to focus more on the most important aspect of career developing-learning. Your generosity to share industry insight has inspired me to help others and give back to the community. I hope one day I will be able to help students achieve their goals just as you have helped me.
