Credit risk is most simply defined as the potential that a bank borrower or counterparty will fail to meet its obligations in accordance with agreed terms and cooperates are one of the most important counterparties. The goal of credit risk management is to maximize a bank’s risk-adjusted rate of return by maintaining credit risk exposure within acceptable parameters. NHC is privileged to host the next round of Distinguished Speakers Series, where David Cheng will offer our members an introduction of how banks measure and mitigate corporate lending risk.

People Manager ( Credit Risk Model Group) at TD Securities. He has 8+ years of experience in risk management including credit risk and market risk. David holds MBA from Schulich School of Business, York University.
