What mission exactly does treasury has in a company? It’s the first time for NHC to host Treasury Salon and during the three sessions， you will enjoy the discussions and find it helpful in pursuing your career.

In Treasury Salon session 1, NHC invites several professionals working in different institutions to deeply analyze working content and corporations between departments of Treasury. We are going to show you a big picture of treasury and precis knowledge of daily operations.

Peter Ha,
Director,
Balance Sheet Mgmt Strategy & Ops
at BMO Corporate Treasury.
He has 10+ years of treasury experience and is currently responsible for implementing interest rate and FX strategies to manage BMO’s structural balance sheet to the target market risk profile. Peter holds a Bachelor of Math and a Master of Accounting from the University of Waterloo and is also a Chartered Professional Accountant and a CFA ® charterholder.
Winter Wang,
Manager, Fund Transfer Pricing at TD,
Treasury and Balance Sheet Management department.
In her current role, she supports the Margin Measurement and Management function for TD Canada Trust and TD Wealth. Winter holds Master of Engineering from University of Toronto and Bachelor of Mathematics from University of Waterloo.
Claire Han,
Manager FTP Corporate Treasury at RBC.
Her role is to measure and transfer price interest rate risk and liquidity risk for all Canadian Banking products. Claire holds a CFA designation and MBA degree from Schulich School of business.
Katja Cheng，
Manager, Treasury at DREAM Unlimited.
She has 7+ years of experience in Industry Corporate Treasury and currently works for one of Canada’s leading real estate companies. In her current role, she manages $14 billion asset globally, including residential land, housing and condominium properties, four TSX-listed funds, investments in Canadian renewable energy infrastructure, etc. She also holds an MBA degree.
